David Cobb, a third generation Cobb family photographer followed in his fathers and grandfathers tradition and has become one of the countries leading digital pioneers and premier photographer.
Having had studios in Chicago, Los Angeles and Oklahoma City he has created images for clients coast to coast. He currently resides in Oklahoma and specializes in digital imaging photography.
Before Digital Photography became a reality in the United States, Cobb was one of the first pioneers in its field establishing its true value in the commercial world.
Working with Sony America and Sony Japan, Cobb beta tested their first digital prototype studio camera in the United States and produced the first completely digital circular in the early 90's. Cutting client production time from six weeks to just one week showed that digital was not just a vision but a reality. Sony was so impressed they hired Cobb to produce the International sales video for their prototype camera. Having proved to be one of the pioreers leading the digital photography revolution he has worked with many other manufacturers in beta testing their cameras. He has produced Digital and Conventional photography for clients worldwide.
His specialties include special effects photography (Digital and Conventional) for catalogs, brochures, industrial, annual reports, product, food, fashion, furniture, for advertising and packaging.
He also provides Digital Services such as retouching, photo-compositing and drum scanning and proofing.
